Typically, our structure works as follows:
Initial Partnership – 5% Equity
Wh⁴ generally receives an initial 5% equity participation, which vests over an agreed period. This structure ensures founders have time to work closely with us and become comfortable with the partnership as value is created.
Growth Milestones – Up to 15%
As the company grows and reaches agreed strategic or valuation milestones, our participation may increase to a maximum of 15% equity. These milestones are agreed transparently with the founders and are designed to reflect meaningful value creation.
This approach ensures that our shareholding grows only as the company grows.
Many founders hesitate at the idea of giving away equity in the early stages. However, experienced entrepreneurs understand that the right partners can dramatically increase the ultimate value of a company.
